Selah Ministries was founded by Stephen and Jenny Watson after a call was made from Jerusalem expressing the need for product sales. With the rapid decline in the tourism industry the nation took a dive financially. Stephen and Jenny heard the cry and set up Selah as a ministry to the nation of Israel to bless them. The bible calls us to bless the nation of Israel.

‘As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about His people from henceforth even for ever.’ Ps 125:2 KJV

‘The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.’ Psalm 128:5 KJV

‘Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.’

A word occuring frequently in the Psalms; by some, supposed to signify silence or a pause in the musical performance of the song.

Selah may be the most difficult word in the Hebrew Bible to translate. Selah is probably an instruction on the reading of the text, something like "stop and listen".

Selah notes a break in the song and as such is similar in purpose to Amen in that it stresses the importance of the preceding passage. Alternatively, Selah may mean "forever",
